REACTIONS FROM NATO: We are committed to BiH's stability, membership is decided by the country itself and no one else

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - NATO is committed to the security, stability and sovereignty of BiH - as well as to our open door policy regarding membership, states the NATO HQ in Sarajevo.

In a post on social networks, NATO states that it is up to BiH to decide on the relationship it wants with NATO, and that no third party has the right to intervene or veto such a process.

"We are stronger together and will continue to work with the authorities and our international partners to ensure a secure environment in BiH," states the NATO HQ.

Interestingly, the message from NATO came just a few hours after the appearance of the Russian Ambassador to BiH, Igor Kalabuhov, on FACE television, where he reiterated that Russia would react to the eventual membership of our country in the North Atlantic Alliance.

We remind you that Kalabuhov's statements in recent days have caused numerous reactions both in the country and around the world, after he said that BiH would see a reaction if it joined NATO and that Ukraine should be an example to everyone.

Also, Kalabuhov said last night that Russia has plans against Croatia and other NATO member states as well.
