REACTION 'Justice for Dženan Memic': This is just the beginning, we will not give up!

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Facebook group "Justice for Dženan Memic" announced today regarding the arrests related to the murder case of Dženan Memic with the message: "And we told you, we will not give up, this is just the beginning".

We remind you that, on the order of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, searches are being conducted in the area of Sarajevo Canton within the framework of the case for organized crime and obstruction of the investigation into the death of Dženan Memic in February 2016.

As confirmed for Patria, two people have been arrested so far, who are charged with criminal offenses of organized crime in connection with abuse of position.

On the order of a prosecutor from the BiH Prosecutor's Office, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) are conducting searches at two locations in the area of Sarajevo Canton with the aim of collecting evidence.

"Activities are being carried out within the framework of a case that the BiH Prosecutor's Office has been working on for a longer period, and it relates to criminal offenses of organized crime in connection with obstruction of the investigation and concealment of evidence about the death of Dženan Memic in February 2016," the state prosecutor's office announced.

As Patria learns, the search is being conducted at the house of Zijad Mutap, the father of Alisa Mutap, who was with Dženan Memic on the night of February 8, 2016, when he sustained injuries from which he died on February 15. The house of Hasan Dupovac, an employee of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS, is also being searched. In 2016, Dupovac was the head of the Traffic Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS.
