(Patria) - Member of the BiH Parliament, currently from Our Party, Damir Arnaut has presented a series of inaccurate information to the public which, in the current circumstances, could harm the international reputation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, making it necessary to respond, the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
"Arnaut publicly stated on the TVSA television show that the BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bisera Turković, 'signed the opening of a Russian cultural center in BiH in Moscow,' making a series of other unsubstantiated claims regarding diplomatic representation.
We inform the public that these are clearly intentionally disseminated disinformation. Minister Turković did not sign any agreement with Sergey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, nor an agreement on the opening of a Russian cultural center in BiH. The final decision regarding this request from the Russian Federation rests with the BiH Presidency, which is a procedure Mr. Arnaut should be aware of.
Furthermore, Minister Turković did not meet with Lavrov in Moscow, as Arnaut claims, but in Sochi," the MFA announced.
