Reaction from HNS: A historic opportunity has arisen for SDA

(Patria) - The Croatian National Assembly, with the electoral will and legitimacy bestowed upon it in the recent elections, pursues a policy of dialogue and builds relationships with the legitimate representatives of the constituent peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina, seeking and offering solutions to agree on key problems in BiH. HNS will continue to resolve problems and crises that are always instigated by others, as a sincere leader of the policy of dialogue, agreement, and just solutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the HNS stated in a reaction to the conclusions of the SDA.

"Through the future democratic maturation of politics and society and a long-term vision of mutual respect and development, which must be jointly agreed upon by all three constituent peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Croatian National Assembly calls for de-escalation of tensions and prevention of new political crises, and calls for compromise that is in the interest of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Furthermore, HNS emphasizes that solutions must be found, which are the product of dialogue, exclusively within the framework of the BiH Constitution and European standards. A historic opportunity has arisen for SDA to accept all decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH, to be on the right side of history, and to support amendments to the BiH Election Law," the reaction states.

HNS demands that "SDA accept the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH on legitimate representation and advocacy as woven into the foundations of the Washington and Dayton Agreements, and support amendments to the BiH Election Law, which would enable legitimate political representation at all administrative levels."

"Political representatives of the Bosniak people must discuss the future of BiH with political representatives of Serbs and Croats, in order to resolve crucial problems through agreement, strengthen the economy, and ensure better living conditions for everyone in BiH," the HNS reaction reads.
