Edina Ljubuškić's Reaction: Theft Occurred at the Employment Service

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Edina Ljubuškić, an employee of the Public Institution "Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton" reacted to the statements made today by the Service's Director Nermin Pećanac. We are publishing her reaction in full:

"In the report from the press conference of the Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton, the Director of the Service also mentioned my name, I quote:

"Edina Ljubuškić, she was largely involved in this story. I stated who held which position when this crime was happening, and she cannot avoid answering certain questions because she was a manager for a period. Some actively participated in this, while others contributed through silence or inaction. The consequence is the same, whether you stole or remained silent, the consequence is the same," said the director."

Mentioning my full name in the context of any crime or fraud within the Service can only be in the context that I, Edina Ljubuškić, was an active participant in the work of the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in uncovering a scheme of stealing taxpayer money. At the same time, the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has not completed its work because there are grounds for suspicion of much larger theft of taxpayer money than determined by the tax decision. In addition to this, stating that I worked in finance and placing that work in the context of financial malversations from 2006 (an employee of the Service since December 2016) and doing so without verifying the claims, is malicious and tendentious towards me. This is damage to my reputation and honor, and my legal team, engaged for the humiliations I have endured from those who insult everyone and anyone with vulgar language, will address this. I am available to all law enforcement agencies and I eagerly await to sing like a songbird about everything I know and to name all those who use my name to cover themselves in the hope of avoiding responsibility. The Tax Administration was shocked by the lack of internal procedures under a then-director of the Service (the right-hand man of the current director), and this is not even mentioned now.

In conclusion, THEFT occurred at the Employment Service, but bringing my name into that context without verification is deliberate and aimed at discrediting not only me but also the Service during that period. If you are interested in who stole, and the true and only truth, you will be able to find out very soon, and in the meantime, please publish this reaction."
