Avdagić's reaction to events at Bosnalijek

(Patria) - By the decision of the Court of BiH of 05.05.2022, the travel ban measure remained in force for the suspected director of Bosnalijek, Nedim Uzunović, while the measures restricting contact with certain persons were eased.

The suspect has been allowed access to the Bosnalijek building, but he is not allowed to discuss this criminal case. The monitoring of the restrictive measures is carried out every two months, and the Court has no indications for holding the next hearing in this case, it was announced from the Court of BiH.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH accuses Uzunović of organized crime, abuse of position or authority, concluding harmful contracts, and money laundering.

Madžid Avdagić, who was appointed president of the new Supervisory Board of Bosnalijek by the shareholders' assembly at a disputed session, announced that the Securities Commission of the Federation of BiH succumbed to pressure and various lobbies and refused to register the new supervisory board, even though on 20.06.2013, in an almost identical situation, it legalized the Supervisory Board headed by Konstantin Zevlov and the management with Nedim Uzunović.

- Following precise instructions and suggestions from the Securities Commission itself regarding the need to complete documentation, the new Supervisory Board unanimously dismissed the previous management of Bosnalijek and appointed Neven Hadžisulejmanović as the new director for a period of six months, who can stabilize the situation at Bosnalijek and ensure lawful, positive, and successful business operations, states Avdagić, who was also a member of the previous Supervisory Board of Bosnalijek.

He claims that the statements made by a part of the current management, who are misinforming the public through paid advertisements in the media that the old supervisory board led by Nedim Rizvanović supports Uzunović and the management, are untrue and very dangerous.

- This is probably a job for the prosecutor's office, because by that logic, the Supervisory Board should be in the dock instead of Uzunović. As I was a member of that old Supervisory Board as well, I inform the public that I have never attended a session where we gave support to Uzunović, especially since the court has not concluded the proceedings, Avdagić states in his reaction.
