Aluminij's Reaction: Minister Bajrović Did Not Request Removal of Any Prominent Symbols

In disbelief, reading the lines from the public statement of the Presidency of the Croatian Democratic Union of BiH, in which they baselessly linked Aluminij d.d. Mostar to current media writings about the alleged removal of symbols of the Croatian people from the meeting room at Elektroprivreda HZHB, before they hosted the Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry in the Government of FBiH, Reuf Bajrović, we strongly reject all of the above, as untrue and extremely offensive to Aluminij and its strong reputation, both in BiH and among its peoples, and in the world, it was announced from Aluminij, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- We are not engaging in commenting on the writings about the actions of our colleagues from EPHZHB, because we are not even aware of them. Members of the Management Board of Aluminij received Minister Bajrović for an official visit on the same day when, after a meeting at Aluminij, he also visited the Management Board of EPHZHB, and the meeting room of Aluminij, as well as the entire external and internal factory premises where the minister moved, were and remain in the same condition as they have been for all previous years, with the entire inventory that has been an integral part of our premises for years. Neither Minister Bajrović nor Aluminij requested any interventions or removal of prominent symbols at any time. On the contrary, he was exclusively interested in the work and future of the company.

We therefore wish to believe that all of the above from the HDZ BiH statement is the result of confusion or an unintentional, albeit cardinal, oversight. We remain quite surprised by the fact that the leaders of HDZ BiH, before such a serious public statement, did not request clarification of the information served to them at Aluminij.
