Talk with German Businessmen

Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić and Federal Minister of Development, Economy and Trade Amir Zukić talked this afternoon with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of the Federal Republic of Germany for Eastern Europe, led by Executive Director Michael Harms, and which included representatives of several large companies.

The aim of the meeting, held at the headquarters of the Federal Government in Sarajevo, was to seek opportunities for further expansion of the already good bilateral economic cooperation.

The hosts informed the guests from Germany about the activities of the Government of the Federation of BiH aimed at creating a better business environment that is attractive to foreign investors.

- We need major German companies that will act integratively on our economy. In addition to the fact that foreign capital is positive in itself, it brings us experience, new knowledge, and new technologies - said Prime Minister Novalić.

The path that Bosnia and Herzegovina must take in the process of European integration was also discussed. As emphasized, that path is long, but correct and profitable, and is proceeding with the strong support of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Otherwise, the Chamber of Commerce of the Federal Republic of Germany for Eastern Europe is the most important organization working to strengthen the bilateral relations of the Federal Republic of Germany with the countries of Southeast Europe, and represents a large number of German companies interested in investing in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
