
(Patria) - A video conference of police directors from European Union countries was held, with the participation of the Director of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Galić.
The video conference was held with the aim of resolving transport problems, border security, as well as finding solutions for combating the spread of the global problem of the COVID-19 pandemic. On this occasion, Galić pointed out current problems at border crossings, such as those faced by transport carriers, which are causing congestion at border crossings.
"It is necessary to take all possible preventive measures to avoid congestion at border crossings and thus avoid the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus. The BiH Border Police is maximally open to cooperation in order to jointly act in combating the spread of the aforementioned global problem," Galić emphasized.
The BiH Border Police actively cooperates and coordinates with the police agencies of neighboring countries and continuously maintains contact for the purpose of timely exchange of police data and finding common solutions.
