(Patria) - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke by phone with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
During the call, Fidan stated that the violation of Turkish airspace is unacceptable and emphasized that Turkey will continue to take all necessary measures.
Araghchi stated that the missiles heading towards Turkish airspace were not launched from Iran and said that a comprehensive investigation will be conducted.
Yesterday's incident was the second case of a ballistic missile being fired towards Turkey since the US and Israel began their attack on Iran on February 28.
Iran responded with missiles to US bases in surrounding countries, and seven US soldiers were killed in the attacks. This also caused sharp reactions from the American public, who believe the US does not need another war in the Middle East.
