The president of the Municipal Board of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), Huso Ćesir, was injured three days ago in a serious incident in the Ilidža Municipality in Sarajevo, the BH News Agency Patria has learned. According to unofficial information, Ćesir was injured while preventing the kidnapping of his son E. Ć. and his vehicle by robbers, in broad daylight!
The brazen attempted attack on the respected businessman has caused outrage and concern among citizens for their safety.
Details of the incident are not known, and a brief police report only states that there was a report of kidnapping and forced detention, followed by a collision of two vehicles, and above all, a fight involving several people.
However, as we were unofficially confirmed, behind it all lies an unprecedented drama that Ćesir and his family went through. He is a respected businessman and politician, the owner of the company „Bosnaplast“ and the vice-president of the Cantonal Board of SDA in Sarajevo.
Ćesir himself did not want to speak to the Patria agency about the events of three days ago, and the details are not fully known.
According to unconfirmed information from sources close to Ćesir's friends, the robbers tried to steal the vehicle in which his son was. After that, Ćesir chased the robbers, caught up with them, and they clashed. There is no confirmation of the use of firearms, but it is known that Ćesir was admitted to the hospital with a leg injury. The police arrested one attacker, while the other is being sought.
Information about the attempted kidnapping was published the same day in some media. Spokesperson Irfan Nefić told Patria that the police's position on the event was stated in the bulletin. And it reads:
- On 05/27/2014, around 3:30 PM, the Fourth Police Administration was informed that Ć.E. from Sarajevo was forcibly detained in the Otes settlement, Ilidža Municipality, by unknown persons. Police officers found passenger motor vehicles of the brands “VW Passat” and “VW Touareg” in the Otes settlement, under the overpass on Barska Street, Ilidža Municipality, which had previously been involved in a traffic accident. During the criminal investigation, and in cooperation with the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo, it was found that the said event was preceded by a disturbance of public order and peace by a fight between several persons – it is stated.
While working on clarifying the said event, as announced, police officers on the same day around 7:00 PM, deprived A.M.A., born in 1985 in Sarajevo, where he resides, of his liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of Violent Behavior and Endangering Security.
- Another person, whose identity is known to police officers, is being sought. Work on clarifying and documenting the said event continues – it was announced by the police, NAP reports.
