(Patria) - Deputies of the KS Assembly had a series of questions regarding the Draft Budget of KS for 2023.
Minister of Finance Emir Dedović stated that credit funds planned for this year amount to 65 million KM. He said they will try to allocate more funds for capital projects, excluding credit funds.
He emphasized that KS is indebted with 346 million KM and an additional 137 million KM, but that this does not constitute over-indebtedness.
"The new planned funds of 65 million KM will not affect the budget's stability," said Dedović.
Minister of Veterans' Affairs Omer Osmanović explained that the need arose to establish a department for the treatment of veterans, and that they followed the example of Vukovar.
"We decided that this department will be in the General Hospital and we will finance it, but we will not interfere with its organization. It remains for the Health Center to establish clinics for veterans, and day hospitals in the Psychiatric Hospital," said Osmanović.
Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS Admir Katica responded to several deputy questions and stated that the construction of buildings for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS will be analyzed and a plan will be made.
"The construction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS building has not been abandoned. The budget of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS is the largest so far. We have 135 million KM, with the Police Administration alone receiving 106 million KM. These will be very sufficient funds for what we lack, the procurement of uniforms, armored vehicles, and a water cannon," said Katica.
Minister of Transport of KS Adnan Šteta explained the increase in subsidies for public transport, including for Željeznice FBiH, for which 26 million KM is planned.
He announced that the construction of the tram line from Ilidža to Hrasnica will begin in the summer, and that buses and other public transport vehicles will continue to be procured.
He assured that GRAS employees also do not need to worry, and that last year their service records were credited for employees retiring.
