SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Earthquakes in the People and Justice (NIP) of USK, which has recently begun to lose members, will not change anything within the party, nor the current assembly majority in this canton. Members of the provisional committee in Bosanska Krupa left NIP, followed by the Minister of Veterans' Affairs Ermin Zulić, cantonal representative Ifeta Kadić, and the president of the provisional committee in Bosanski Petrovac Fadil Balić.
- These are mainly people who joined NIP along with Agan Bunić. When Bunić realized that we were not prepared to stand behind the scandals associated with him, he moved to A-SDA. Clearly, some of those people followed him. Among them is the minister, whom we called to resign a long time ago because veteran organizations do not support him, Halil Bajramović, president of the NIP provisional committee in USK, stated for Patria.
Given that the Assembly has not had a majority for a long time, the minister was not replaced, but he was asked, according to Bajramović, not to speak on behalf of NIP. According to him, representative Kadić was in favor of replacing the minister, but on the condition that she choose the successor.
- Regarding the resignations in the municipal organization of Bosanski Petrovac, these people won a total of 77 votes. The president spent more time working for Agan Bunić in other municipalities than fighting for NIP in Petrovac, says Bajramović.
Both NIP and the cadres who left remain part of the majority in the USK Assembly, only now the A-SDA club is stronger, and NIP is left with one representative.
- We will no longer participate in the USK Government, but we will not be an obstacle in the Assembly because there is no majority to dismiss the USK Government. NIP will never join SDA, and in this way, we have a director of the Health Insurance Fund who does his job excellently, which other parties in power do not dispute, says Bajramović.
His position is that apart from media damage, NIP in USK has suffered no losses and has the trust of the party headquarters.
In a conversation with Patria, Bajramović expressed hope that the budget will be adopted by March 31, despite the lack of a clearly defined majority.
- Most likely, the DF will become part of the majority, and healthcare will fall under their purview. We are ready to give our vote if the partners agree to sign the principles we have put on paper. We ask that we all commit to fighting corruption and nepotism and that projects we consider priorities be included in the budget. In principle, everyone is ready to sign, but as I see it, they seem to be avoiding actually doing it, Bajramović believes.
Before the budget discussion, the majority in USK must agree on how to hold the cantonal assembly session. Epidemiological measures are an obstacle to gathering in the hall, and a session via the Zoom platform is not provided for in the rules of procedure.
