Rocket attack on Baghdad, six people injured

IRAQ, (Patria) - Six rockets from a Katyusha launcher fell on Baghdad, and two hit the well-fortified Green Zone on Sunday evening, which houses government buildings and the US embassy, the Iraqi army said.

The remaining rockets hit the nearby Jadrija district. According to Iraqi police data, six people were injured. This is the second rocket attack on the Green Zone in Baghdad since the killing of Iranian General Soleimani in Iraq on the orders of US President Donald Trump. 

Iran also announced its withdrawal from the nuclear deal, and told the US that the killing of Soleimani was a mistake. 

The US Congress was not informed about the killing of Soleimani, nor was approval for the attack sought.
