(Patria) - An Iranian missile with a 100-kilogram warhead hit a small street in the center of Tel Aviv this morning and caused significant damage. The sixth wave of Iranian attacks since midnight led to severe damage to three buildings and nearby vehicles after a direct hit.
Cars at the impact site were completely destroyed, and nearby buildings were severely damaged.
The Israeli Magen David Adom service announced that at least six people were lightly injured at four locations in the city. Footage from the scene shows a severely damaged building and several vehicles, while thick smoke rose over parts of Tel Aviv.
Fire and rescue teams were dispatched to the impact site in Tel Aviv, where damage from the explosion, structural impacts, and burning vehicles were recorded. They extinguished the fire, searched the area for anyone possibly buried, and disconnected power sources.
Authorities later announced that people were found in the shelter of one of the buildings and contact was established with them. "Their presence in the shelter prevented casualties," the fire department stated.
