Works on a number of sections slow down traffic in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Roads are mostly dry this morning, and drivers are warned about frequent minor landslides of soil or stones, according to BIHAMK.

Due to regular servicing of the Oštrik and Vukov Gaj tunnels, traffic will be suspended tonight from 8 PM to 6 AM on the A-1 highway section Sarajevo North - Sarajevo West (in the direction of Sarajevo North - Sarajevo West).

Due to works on the bridge (M06) on the A-1 highway section Sarajevo North - Podlugovi, traffic is two-way, using the opposite lane from the work zone.

On the Tuzla-Kalesija road (Simin Han-Caparde section), traffic will be suspended from 10 PM to 6 AM due to works in the Čaklovići tunnel and will be rerouted to the alternative route via Dubrave. During the day, passenger vehicles from the direction of Tuzla will pass through the tunnel, and from the direction of Kalesija, they will use the bypass around the tunnel. Heavy goods vehicles will be directed to the route via Dubrave even during the day.

Works are also underway in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica section, where traffic alternates, one lane at a time, during the day, while traffic through the tunnel is suspended during the night hours (11 PM - 4:30 AM).

Other roads with ongoing works include: Doboj-Rudanka, Tarčin-Konjic (Donja Raštelica), Stolac-Hutovo (Cerovica locality), Posušje-Tomislavgrad (Čitluk settlement), and Banovići-Ribnica (at the exit from Banovići), as well as the intersection of main roads in Bosanski Petrovac.

Due to numerous landslides and the risk of mudslides on the main road Brod na Drini-GP Hum/Šćepan Polje, passenger vehicles are experiencing difficult passage, while traffic for heavy goods vehicles is suspended.

There are no delays longer than 30 minutes at border crossings in BiH.
