Radončić on FTV about the revision of the verdict against Serbia, political assassinations, the fate of the coalition with SDA

The president of the Alliance for a Better Future and delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament, Fahrudin Radončić, stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina had an absolute right to file a request with the International Court of Justice in The Hague for the revision of the verdict against Serbia, and that he sees nothing wrong with it, as it is a pursuit of justice.

Radončić, appearing on the show 'Pošteno' on FTV on Monday evening, said that filing the request for revision would cause turbulence in Republika Srpska, that it was expected, but that such a reaction would quickly become a thing of the past.

- Filing a request for revision of the verdict in the BiH lawsuit against Serbia is not a blow to the state - Radončić said, Patria reports.

In 'Pošteno', Radončić also spoke about the work of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the illegal celebration of January 9, relations within the coalition with SDA, the court proceedings against him...

- I would not like to comment on the decisions of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, the order of witness examination, etc., but I think it is not good that only Serb officials are brought to the Prosecutor's Office and asked to testify about these circumstances (the celebration of the unconstitutional January 9, editor's note). If Minister Marina Pendeš, or Deputy Minister of Defense Mr. Jusić, had been invited, I think the feeling of Serbs being brought to the Prosecutor's Office on a national basis would have been avoided - Radončić said.

Radončić also spoke about the protests in FBiH, the future of the state-level coalition, the project of a 'Muslim state in BiH', political assassinations, testimony in Kosovo, his candidacy for the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency in 2018...

- As Minister of Security, I insisted on uncovering the killers of the late Jozo Leutar, Deputy Minister of the FBiH Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Mr. Ugljen, who was the deputy director of the intelligence service... How is it possible that two men who had state police protection were killed by two or three people... and that someone, at the moment of their liquidation, removed them from duty..., only someone who allowed these people to work could do that - Radončić believes.

- Someone is keeping those investigations under the table - Radončić added, calling on SIPA and OSA to investigate these murders.

Speaking about the overall relations in BiH after filing the request for revision, Radončić believes that BiH is a very stable country, and that everything that is regulated will not lead to its collapse, "but it will lead to certain turbulence in RS." He added that any Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, if they were in Bakir Izetbegović's place, would have acted the same as Izetbegović when it comes to filing the request for revision.

- We know that genocide was committed. There is no Bosniak politician who would not have used the situation like Izetbegović. My biggest objection to Izetbegović is that he selfishly kept the revision for himself - Radončić believes. He also added that BiH must turn to the region and good neighborly relations. For citizens, the most important things are the fight against corruption, poverty, crime, and the departure of young people from the country.
