Neum Waterworks Employees Exempted from Paying for Water!

NEUM, (Patria) - Employees of the Public Utility Company "Neum" have not been paying for water for 25 years. The decision was made by the company's "Workers' Council" on February 7, 1992, and signed by the then-president of the Workers' Council, Vinko Sentić.

The decision states that the company's employees are exempt from paying for the consumption of drinking water up to 30 cubic meters per month. This decision is still in effect today.

Sentić /HDZ BiH/ currently holds the position of a board member of the company Komunalno Neum, as well as the president of the Neum Municipal Council. The decision is also supported by the Mayor of Neum, Živko Matuško, and the majority of councilors in the Neum Municipal Council. Some of them own apartments, where water consumption during the season is enormous.
