Regarding today's protest of former employees of IP "Krivaja" d.o.o. Zavidovići, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina emphasizes that it has held several meetings with former employees of this company who have acquired the right to a pension in the past period, during which the current situation was determined and analyzed, as well as the Agreement signed with these employees by the Federal Government in the previous term, reports the Patria news agency.
Namely, this agreement guaranteed the linking of contributions for PIO so that workers who have met the conditions could exercise their right to a pension. However, the amount needed for these purposes was not planned in the Budget for 2015. In this regard, at previously held meetings, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina committed to providing funds of up to 600,000 KM through the Budget rebalance to resolve this issue.
Former employees of IP "Krivaja" d.o.o. Zavidovići were informed of all these facts before deciding to protest.
The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina once again emphasizes that it will continue to work on resolving this problem and expects understanding from former employees of this company for the time and procedures necessary for the activities it is undertaking to resolve their status, the Government stated.
