Krivaja Workers: Novalić supports criminals, if he continues, February 2014 will repeat!

Around 700 Krivaja workers have stated they are in shock after the FBiH Government, led by Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, ordered the relevant ministry to submit a report on criminal offenses committed against former Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić and unknown persons, employees of the Government of the Federation of BiH, due to the existence of a well-founded suspicion that he personally, in his capacity as Prime Minister and with unknown persons, initiated and committed acts that have the characteristics of a criminal offense, writes Patria.

The Government accused Nikšić and unknown persons of engaging in organized crime and corruption, abuse of power, abuse of official position and authority, fraud, forgery of documents, and negligent work in office during the previous term, thereby damaging the budget of the Federation of BiH by approximately 43,000,000 KM.

Nikšić is actually being charged because he obliged the FBiH Government to credit the work history of workers from several companies owned by the Government!

Nikšić also commented. He explained that everything he did was to credit the workers' work history.

- The current Government led by Novalić has shown its callousness and lack of concern for the plundered workers on countless occasions, who in their vision of the state perhaps only have the right to die. I am fighting for a country where workers live from their labor and where those who have worked honestly can retire – commented Nermin Nikšić.

Besim Hasić, a representative of Krivaja Mobel workers, told Patria that he does not understand why Prime Minister Novalić does not initiate criminal proceedings against the consortium, the owner of the company Krivaja Mobel, which has damaged the company and the state by 6.5 million KM.

- Mr. Novalić knows that well. He knows that the consortium did not pay for the company. The very information that the Federal Agency for Privatization handed over the company to criminals is questionable. The company was given to the consortium bypassing the FBiH Government's decision, at a time when Nermin Nikšić was at its head. Even the loan reprogramming of 6.5 million KM was given to the consortium, not Krivaja Mobel – says Hasić.

We remind you that the once renowned company Krivaja was privatized by a consortium formed from several smaller companies (Vinko Marić, Kasim Badnjar, Dragan Babić, and Muhamed Šibonjić). As they did not fulfill their contractual obligations, the Municipal Court in Zenica recommended that the contract between the consortium and Krivaja be terminated.

- I think the problem here is much broader. A solution is being sought for Aluminij Mostar. According to the contract signed by Nikšić as Prime Minister, Aluminij has the most obligations towards the workers. That is why Jelka Milićević, the FBiH Minister of Finance, is against this contract. Why Novalić supports it is unclear to me. I considered him a top expert because he comes from the economy, but in this way, he has shown that he supports criminals – added Hasić.

Milićević is bothered by this contract, Hasić claims, because Aluminij has huge debts.

- Now they want to avoid paying it, because we, the workers, are protected by that contract, because tomorrow when I retire, the state owes me to pay for the period for which my pension contributions were deducted, but Novalić doesn't want to do that – added Hasić.

He concludes with disappointment that the fact that the municipality of Zavidovići is literally dead is proof of the lack of care from the state and Novalić.

- The municipality is dead, nothing functions in it. I would say that I wish for February 2014 to repeat itself tomorrow. Believe me, there is no bread here until the nation rises up. Everything here goes according to ethnic lines, workers suffer, people starve, private companies cannot survive. I also sent letters in 2014 and warned about February – Hasić points out.
