Feroelektro Workers: Despite the Verdict, Stanić Still Takes Millions from Leasing State Property

Workers of Feroelektro gathered on Friday, March 4, in front of the business building in Sarajevo, expressing dissatisfaction with the non-implementation of the court verdict on the termination of the sales-purchase agreement with Stanić Invest, which leases space to the Croatian Consulate and takes millions in rent, while workers have not received salaries for years, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Senad Smajić, acting director of Feroelektro and president of the Union, previously told Patria that Goran Stanić would do everything to prolong the process of dismissal and transfer of ownership to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We remind you that the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its session held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, gave consent for the dismissal of Goran Stanić from the position of president, and Dragan Bilić and Dražen Marjanović from the positions of members of the Supervisory Board of Feroelektro d.d. Sarajevo, due to the refusal to adopt the report on the company's operations for 2014.

The Shareholders' Assembly is scheduled for March 26, but according to Smajić, Olivera Galić, who is not employed at Feroelektro, has been appointed as the recorder.

- She has caused obstructions before and will do everything to delay the minutes of that Assembly, which will most likely push things into May. She should implement the decisions of the Assembly, go to the Securities Commission, delete Goran Stanić, and register the people appointed by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – says Smajić.

Also, Galić should make changes in the court register regarding the members of the Supervisory Board and the company's management.

- Stanić's intentions are precisely to drag everything out, while simultaneously, through his political hawks, he tries to pressure the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he has filed a request for review and determination of the legality of the verdict on the termination of the sales-purchase agreement. That process takes 2 to 3 years, and he is trying to speed it up. And until he speeds it up and tries to impose his will, he wants to stay in Feroelektro as long as possible because it is very important who is in possession of Feroelektro – said Smajić.

We remind you that the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, on December 15, 2014, issued a verdict terminating the sales-purchase agreement with "Stanić Invest", thereby returning ownership of Feroelektro to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- And 15 months after the verdict on the termination of the sales-purchase agreement, Stanić still disposes of property worth several hundred million KM of Feroelektro. In 2015 alone, they collected 1.6 million KM from leasing space. That money should have gone to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the workers, to pay for our health and pension insurance – says Smajić, who reminds that there is a court ban on disposing, using, and alienating the property.

- Stanić and his people continue to squander property and create debt to the state - says Smajić.

Just one example of how Stanić makes money on the property of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the Feroelektro building in the center of Sarajevo, which they lease to the Croatian Consulate. Practically, in this way, the Republic of Croatia also participates in the robbery of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, more than anything, citizens should be concerned that the Bosnian authorities are unable to prevent the robbery of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the center of Sarajevo.
