SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Employees of Elektroprivreda HZ HB reported to the portal Hercegovina.info that there is a real injustice in their company regarding the payment of one mark with the electricity bill for Televizija Herceg-Bosne. Namely, as employees of Elektroprivreda HZ HB, one mark for Televizija Herceg – Bosne has been deducted from all of them at the meter point they reported. If they object to this, they are obliged to write to the director Marinko Gilja stating that they do not watch TV Herceg-Bosne, do not give the mark, etc., thus exposing themselves to potential pressure.
The mark was deducted without a previously signed statement, which was sent to ordinary households, even if the meter point is not registered to an Elektroprivreda employee, but to a family member, but was reported during employment. Thus, numerous parents, spouses, and other relatives of employees called the company to find out why they had a mark on their bill, to which they were told that so-and-so works at Elektroprivreda.
Elektroprivreda presented the public with the data that 37,000 households have set aside one mark for television, although sources from Hercegovina.info say that this is also less than what was presented. Given all of the above, and that Elektroprivreda employees were not asked if they wanted to set aside one mark for Television before it was deducted, the entire case could be reported to the Institution of Ombudsmen for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
