Workshop for Indirect Taxation Authority officials on risk analysis

Banja Luka, (Patria) - Officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority attended a three-day workshop on "Risk Assessment and Selectivity" by experts from Serbia, organized with the support of EXBS – Export Control and Border Security Program.

Officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority, organized by EXBS at the Central Office in Banja Luka, attended a workshop on "Risk Assessment and Selectivity." The workshop speakers were risk analysis experts from the Customs Administration of the Republic of Serbia, Gordana Zečević and Vanja Milovančević.

During the workshop, the risk management architecture (principles, framework, and process) in the Customs Administration of the Republic of Serbia was presented. Methods for collecting data and intelligence information, data analysis, and dissemination of intelligence data were shown. Also, the method of submitting risk data, the method of analysis, and the measures taken to reduce risk were presented.

The workshop is primarily intended for officials of the Department for Risk Analysis and Management, as well as for customs officials of the ITA, organized by the Government of the USA through the EXBS program.
