Traveling to an election rally in Kiseljak: Goran Vujica, candidate of the coalition of Croatian parties, dies in a crash

On Monday evening around 7 PM, on the eve of the final rally of the Coalition of Croatian Parties, HDZ BiH and HSS Stjepan Radić in Kiseljak, a tragedy occurred. While driving towards Kiseljak, on the M-5 main road in the village of Rauševac, Goran Vujica, one of the candidates of the coalition of Croatian parties for the Kiseljak Municipal Council, died in a traffic accident, writes Večernji list, reports the Patria News Agency.

The personal vehicle, a VW Sharan, which he was driving under circumstances that are still unclear and are being investigated by officers of the Kiseljak Police Department who conducted an on-site investigation, overturned and ended up in a drainage ditch along the road.

Vujica died at the scene when his vehicle overturned. The forty-seven-year-old Vujica is a father of three children. He is a long-time member of HDZ BiH and the president of the basic branch of this party in Brestovsko.

Acquaintances and friends remember him as a diligent and hardworking man who tried in every way to create better living conditions for his family, the residents of Brestovsko, and all of Kiseljak. In this spirit, Goran Vujica also ran for municipal councilor. Unfortunately, a terrible tragedy cut short his plans and left a huge void, first in his family and among his friends and acquaintances, but also in the Municipal Board of HDZ BiH, of which he was a prominent and long-time member.
