A few passengers thus had the opportunity to celebrate the New Year twice due to a peculiar "journey" through time.
- On the flight from Tokyo to Los Angeles, passengers had the opportunity to celebrate 2024 first in Tokyo, and after arriving in Los Angeles, due to different time zones, they could also celebrate it in Los Angeles - states the Flightradar24 website.
The plane took off from Tokyo 50 minutes after midnight on Monday and landed in Los Angeles on Sunday at 5 PM, so passengers had enough time to prepare for another celebration.
