Putin's envoy: US wants to prevent European bureaucrats from destroying Western civilization

(Patria) - The US is trying to prevent the destruction of Western civilization by European bureaucrats, announced Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and special representative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, on his social media page.

"The US is deeply concerned and trying to prevent EU bureaucrats from destroying Western civilization. But EU bureaucrats are very focused and skilled at destroying it through false narratives, migration, inciting war, and economic decline," the post stated, TASS reported.

In this way, the special representative of the Russian president commented on the speech of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, in which he called Americans part of Western civilization.

"It is unclear who is winning," Dmitriev added.

Earlier, he stated that European leaders are reconsidering their approach to resolving the conflict in Ukraine because they fear cooperation between Russia and the United States.
