(Patria) - Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked Turkey for its efforts to contribute to resolving the Ukrainian conflict, TASS reported.
- We are grateful to our Turkish friends for their intention to contribute to resolving crisis situations, including the one around Ukraine - Putin said at a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
Putin also thanked the Turkish side for "support for the negotiation process, which ensured Istanbul as a venue for talks with Ukraine on resolving the crisis."
