(Patria) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said today that the Kremlin is ready to continue negotiations with Ukraine.
Speaking about the war in Ukraine, which Moscow still exclusively calls a "special military operation," Putin claimed it is coming to an end.
However, he refused to give a specific timeframe, reports Sky News.
According to him, Russian forces are advancing on all fronts on the battlefield.
Putin also stated that Russia does not threaten Europe, nor does it plan a war with European countries, despite the fact that Ukraine, which it attacked, is part of Europe.
Despite claims of military progress, he reiterated Moscow's readiness for dialogue with Kyiv.
Recall, Putin earlier commented on the incident with a drone that hit a residential building in Romanian Galați.
- Ukrainian drones have flown into Poland and the Baltic states before. I think we have the same situation here - Putin said.
He emphasized that the European Union is too quick to accuse Russia and suggested that Ukraine could be responsible for the incident.
He also requested that Romania hand over the wreckage of the drone to Russia so that Moscow could conduct its own investigation and determine its origin.
