(Patria) - Turkish authorities expect that Russian President Vladimir Putin could visit the republic on February 12, while Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi could visit Turkey on January 24, reports TASS agency, citing Turkish media.
The media outlet cited by the agency did not provide additional details regarding Putin's visit.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday that the exact timeframe for Putin's visits to Turkey and North Korea has not yet been determined and is being negotiated through diplomatic channels.
Raisi's visit to Turkey, which has been postponed twice before, will be timed to coincide with a meeting of the highest Turkish-Iranian Cooperation Council.
It is expected that around ten agreements and memorandums will be signed after the meeting. In addition, the fight against terrorism and the situation in the Middle East will be discussed.
