(Patria) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will talk with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi on September 4, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
"It is true that the talks will be held on Monday. They will be in Sochi around midday",
Peskov said.
This will be the first meeting of the two leaders since the grain deal signed by
Ukraine was interrupted.
They previously met in Astana on October 13 last year, the Russian news agency Tass recalled.
The presidents of Russia and Turkey maintain constant communication. The last phone call
between Putin and Erdogan took place on August 2.
The Turkish leader visited Russia over a year ago. That meeting with Putin was held in Sochi on August 5, 2022.
