Released then rearrested Ljubo and Bekrija Seferović: They did not kill Dženan Memić

After the Council of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, following an appeal by lawyer Omar Mehmedbašić, lifted the detention of Ljubo Seferović, Vasvija Sejdović and Bekrija Seferović, members of the MUP of the Canton of Sarajevo, acting on the order of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, rearrested Ljubo Seferović and Bekrija Seferović, it was confirmed for the Patria agency by the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office.

Ljubo Seferović was arrested on suspicion of committing a serious criminal offense against the safety of public traffic and failing to provide assistance to an injured person in an accident, while Bekrija Seferović was arrested on suspicion of obstructing the proving of a criminal offense.

The Cantonal Court determined that there are no grounds that the suspects committed the criminal offense of murder, Azra Bavčić, spokesperson for the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, told Patria.

We recall, Dženan Memić sustained life-threatening injuries on February 8, 2016, while walking with his girlfriend Alisa Mutap on Velika Aleja in Ilidža. He died on February 15 at the University Clinical Center of Sarajevo, and the autopsy showed that the injuries were inflicted with a blunt object. The Memić family organized peaceful protests twice and demanded the discovery of the perpetrator or perpetrators of the murder of this young man. The killer, by all accounts, is still at large.
