(Patria) - Three people arrested last night after posting on social media that they had information about missing toddler Danka Ilić (2) from Serbia have been released after being processed by the Federal Police Administration (FUP).
Spokesperson for the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, Azra Bavčić, told Faktor that the suspects were released to defend themselves from freedom on the order of the duty prosecutor because there was no legal basis for their detention.
Recall, FUP officers last night in the Hadžići area arrested three men, all members of the same family, after they posted on TikTok that they had information about Danka Ilić's disappearance and demanded 50,000 KM for revealing the information.
However, the FUP stated that it was a "joke." The FUP said that a report on the committed criminal offenses was submitted to the Prosecutor's Office against the suspects.
The arrest of the three men in Hadžići was carried out at the request of Interpol Belgrade and an order from the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office.
