Puhalo: Dodik returned from Russia, doesn't mention money

Criticism continues against the president of the Bosnian entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who, during the economic forum in Saint Petersburg, also spoke for a few minutes with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and attempted to present the four-minute conversation to the Bosnian public as a new and improved positioning of Republika Srpska.

Dodik's office announced that Dodik and Putin spoke about joint projects between Russia and Republika Srpska, as well as other important issues, without specifying which particular projects.

- Numerous meetings were held with people important for the existence of good relations between Republika Srpska and the Russian Federation. The most important, of course, was the meeting with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin - said Dodik. However, all of this triggered a wave of criticism against Dodik, ranging from the fact that Putin spoke with Dodik and the delegation for only four minutes, that the meeting was held on the sidelines of the Forum, and that neither Dodik nor the Russian side could specify the concrete projects that Putin and Dodik allegedly discussed.

- Dodik returned from Russia, doesn't mention money – commented psychologist and political analyst Srđan Puhalo.

Before leaving for Russia, Dodik stated that the Russian Federation had previously promised financial assistance to Republika Srpska, but due to EU sanctions imposed at the time, this did not happen.

- I want to re-examine this and see what the chances are in that regard – said Dodik, but upon returning to Banja Luka, he could not confirm whether money was discussed, writes NAP.
