Puhalo: While Croats were dealing with Islamic terrorists in BiH, Agrokor collapsed

The crisis in the Croatian concern Agrokor has shaken the entire region.

61 companies operate within the concern. They are located in Croatia and the countries of the region, and employ a total of about 60,000 people. And it's not surprising that the latest financial problems in this company have unsettled not only Croatia, but also Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. A debt exceeding 250 million KM is mentioned, solely to suppliers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Unofficially, according to Patria's sources, this debt could rise to as much as 500 million KM.

The crisis in Agrokor has opened many questions in the region. Who allowed Agrokor to accumulate debt exceeding six billion euros, of which two billion is owed to suppliers... How is it possible that the Croatian state did not react sooner. Did it know about the problems in Agrokor? Did it have the right not to know about these debts?

Bosnian-Herzegovinian psychologist and analyst Srđan Puhalo said that while Croats were preoccupied with Islamic terrorists in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Agrokor collapsed in Croatia, which could now be a problem for the entire region.

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović has attracted the attention of the international public in recent months with stories that hundreds of fighters from the Middle East battlefields are returning to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Croatian media have been talking for days about terrorist camps in BiH. Such claims from Croatia did not cease even after clear warnings from BiH authorities that their Croatian colleagues were wrong.

While Croatia was 'entertaining' the international public with apparently non-existent terrorist camps in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia endangered 60,000 jobs, writes Patria.
