Daytime Shooting in Sarajevo, One Person Wounded

At the intersection of Otoka towards Buča Potok in Sarajevo today around 1:45 PM, a shooting occurred in which one person was wounded.

Police teams are on the scene. The injured person was transported to the University Clinical Center Sarajevo and we do not know the extent of injuries, confirmed for the Patria news agency from the Duty Operational Center of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.

Police stopped a Golf 5 vehicle, whose driver was involved in the shooting. The car's window was broken, and a pistol was found on the seat.

Muamera Šehić, spokesperson for the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, told Patria that a young man, Š.DŽ., born in 1983, was brought in with a gunshot wound to the left thigh.

- The patient was treated and discharged for home care - said Šehić.
