Shooting in the center of Sarajevo, Mirza Hatić wounded

(Patria) - Mirza Hatić from Sarajevo was wounded shortly before noon today in a shooting that occurred in the garden of a catering facility in Baščaršija.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, Mersiha Novalić, stated that a shooting took place in the area of the Old Town municipality.

- At 11:40 AM, in Bravadžiluk street, Old Town municipality Sarajevo, firearms were used in the summer garden of a catering facility.

An unknown person used a firearm and in the process inflicted injuries on another person in the area of the right leg.

The injured person is at the KCUS. We are awaiting feedback on the severity of the injuries. An investigation will be conducted, and a search for the shooter is underway - Novalić said.

Hatić is known to the police for committing criminal offenses, reports Faktor. He himself confirmed that he was wounded on social media.

- Look, people, I was shot in the center of Sarajevo. My wife set this up for me - Hatić can be heard saying in a video he posted, which also shows his bloody leg.
