(Patria) - In the evening hours, specifically at 18:50, the Police Administration of Banja Luka was reported a shooting in front of the "Stara Ada" restaurant.
Police officers arriving at the scene in the parking lot of the mentioned catering facility found the lifeless body of Banja Luka resident Dejan Kostić, known as Dela, with a gunshot wound to the head.
The scene is secured by a large number of Banja Luka police officers. It is not yet known if there are any other victims of the shooting. Some media outlets report that three shots were heard.
Individuals known to the police for numerous offenses were involved in the shooting.
Dejan Kostić had prior convictions and had participated in previous shootings in Banja Luka.

In 2023, he was sentenced to a fine of 9,000 KM for the criminal offense of abuse, torture, and other inhuman and degrading treatment.
On September 30, 2020, he was arrested at the Basic Court in Banja Luka where he appeared accompanied by his lawyer, at which time there were active warrants for him.
The very next day, he was sentenced at the Basic Court to six months in prison for inflicting serious injuries on Igor Arsenić, and two fines of 4,000 KM each for inflicting minor injuries on Zvjezdan Arsenić, and for breaking into the company "Hidroinženjering" from which a safe containing 12,000 KM was stolen.
Kostić previously presented himself as the leader of "Lešinari," the fan group of FK Borac.
