One person was killed and another injured in a shooting on the grounds of a state university in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, reports the Patria News Agency.
University spokesperson Aaron Singleton said that the shooter is believed not to be a student of the school. He announced that Jarrett Jerome Moore is suspected of the attack, but has not been apprehended, CNN reported.
Local police are assisting university security in the investigation of the incident, CNN stated.
