(Patria) - A shooting occurred near Zubin Potok. KFOR confirmed to Koha Ditore that shots were fired near a KFOR patrol.
It was confirmed that there were no injuries or material damage.
"At this moment, I can confirm that several hours ago, a KFOR patrol, while on duty in the vicinity of Zubin Potok, heard and saw several gunshots near it. There are no injuries and no material damage. We are checking the facts and will update you," reads KFOR's response.
The Kosovo police say that in Zubin Potok they did not exchange fire with anyone.
On Sunday, it marked 16 days since local Serbs set up barricades in the north, following the arrest of former police officer Dejan Pantić.
The government announced that they are waiting for KFOR to remove the barricades. On the other hand, KFOR stated that the barricades should be removed through dialogue.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti said he would speak with the KFOR commander after the Christmas holidays.
Serbian media report that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met with Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army, Milan Mojsilović. The meeting took place after, as Serbian media claim, a shooting occurred "between the Kosovo Special Police and the Serbs standing at the barricades."
