Banja Luka Police released details on the arrest of a suspect for the murder of a young man

(Patria) - Police officers of the Banja Luka Police Administration, under the supervision of the duty prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka, on December 3, 2022, identified and deprived of liberty D.M. from Banja Luka, due to reasonable suspicion that on December 2, 2022, at around 7:40 PM, he committed the criminal offense of „Aggravated Murder“.

The criminal investigation of the said person is ongoing.

Upon the order of the acting prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka, after the completion of the criminal investigation and the compilation and documentation of the case, the said person will be brought to the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka along with a Report on the committed criminal offense, the Banja Luka Police Administration stated.

Let us recall, the murder was recorded by surveillance cameras, as an, as yet unidentified man inflicted multiple stab wounds on the victim near the Nestro gas station, after which he fled. A video of the brutal murder is circulating on social media, but we did not publish it as it is disturbing. However, the footage shows that the man who fatally stabbed the young man is tall and wearing a two-piece tracksuit and a red jacket. The video shows that the young man was inflicted with seven stab wounds while lying on the ground.
