The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton filed an indictment today against P.Đ. (1966), born in Sarajevo, on grounds of reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of war crimes against the civilian population under Article 142 of the former SFRY Criminal Code, the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office announced, reports the BH News Agency Patria.
- Suspect P.Đ. (1966) is accused of having, in late 1992, in the Sarajevo settlement of Vraca, violated the rules of international humanitarian law by raping a female person of Bosniak nationality. The indictment, along with the collected evidence, has been submitted to the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo for further proceedings, i.e., confirmation - it is stated.
We remind you that during the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, the most horrific crimes, persecutions, murders, and rapes of Bosniak women were committed in the areas of Grbavica, Vraca, and Kovačići, under the leadership of the "Monster from Grbavica" Veselin Vlahović Batko and his Chetniks.
