Dodik's RTRS Propaganda Machine: 102 Bosniaks Killed in Prijedor!?

A scandalous and shameful report on the commemoration of the Day of White Ribbons on May 31 in Prijedor was broadcast last night on RTRS's Dnevnik 2, which is under the direct control of Milorad Dodik's ruling regime, writes the Patria News Agency.

It is known that all possible attempts are made to portray that crimes were not committed in many cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Or they are attempted to be relativized, or as is the case with Srebrenica, despite the judgments of the Hague and domestic courts, genocide is sought to be denied in every possible way.

The propaganda machine in RS, as proven last night, does not cease in spreading lies. 

We quote the text of the report that was broadcast last night in the prime time slot at 7:30 PM.

-The civic initiative “Because it concerns me”, with the support of Bosniak associations in Prijedor, organized the Day of White Ribbons in memory of 102 Bosniaks who perished in the war. They are asking for a monument to be built for them. In a peaceful march through Prijedor's main street, they carried white ribbons and banners, and laid roses on the city square.

The former spokesperson for the Hague Tribunal, Florence Hartmann, who also attended a similar gathering in Banja Luka, was also present.  

The fact that 3,176 people were killed in and around Prijedor, including 102 children, was deliberately omitted. A monument is being sought for the innocent children killed, but the Prijedor authorities, led by Marko Pavić, persistently refuse it. Of course, this was not mentioned either. 

It was deliberately omitted that dozens of mass graves have been exhumed so far. That yesterday, on the Day of White Ribbons, the Court of BiH released 12 individuals accused of crimes in Zecovi, where more than 150 Bosniaks were killed.

No matter how much the RTRS propaganda machine tries to downplay the crimes by spreading lies, there are surviving witnesses to the crimes committed in Prijedor, there are surviving prisoners of Omarska, Keraterm, and Trnopolje, there are hundreds of graves where the victims of the crimes are buried. The truth cannot be hidden, even if it is spread through the public service, which is the private property of Milorad Dodik.
