Body of murdered girl Arnela Đogić from Olovo found

The body found in the canyon of the Stupčanica River has been pulled from the water and the investigation is nearing completion, after which the identity of the found body can be confirmed, Aldina Ahmić, spokesperson for the MUP ZDK, told Patria.

All information indicates that it is the body of the murdered girl Arnela Đogić from Olovo, who went missing on Saturday, and whose murder was confessed by two young men.

A body was spotted in the canyon of the Stupčanica River, but we cannot confirm whether it is a male or female body, said Aldina Ahmić, spokesperson for the MUP ZDK, to the Patria news agency.

She said that the extraction of the spotted body from the river will be carried out, after which investigative actions will be taken when the prosecutor arrives at the scene. 

Ahmić could not officially confirm that it is the body of the murdered girl Arnela Đogić from Olovo. Arnela was last seen on Saturday evening. In addition to members of the MUP ZDK, members of the Civil Protection of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina also joined the search.

A. S. (1990) and B. M. (1990) confessed to the murder of the girl, whom they threw off a cliff, and on Tuesday evening they were handed over to the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, but the motive for the murder is still unknown. (av)
