Weapon believed to be used in the murder of Slaviša Krunić found

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - "Police have found the weapon believed to have been used to kill Banja Luka businessman Slaviša Krunić and his escort Žarko Pavlović, as well as a red Opel Corsa, owned by the killed attacker Željko Kovačević," stated the Director of the RS Police, Darko Ćulum, after today's commemoration for the murdered Krunić and Pavlović. Ćulum said that there are indications of a possible motive for the murder, but due to the interests of the investigation, he will not reveal further details.

The weapon was found during a search of the area that began in the early morning hours by members of the Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska in cooperation with members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit.

Benedi Đukanović, for whom an arrest warrant has been issued and who is suspected of committing the murder, fled in a white "Golf Seven" vehicle with license plates 003-K-770.

Police are asking all citizens to call 192 or report to the nearest police station if they notice the mentioned vehicle.
