11 grams of cocaine found in a bus, one person arrested in Banja Luka

Officers of the Indirect Taxation Authority at the Rača border crossing found 11 grams of cocaine in a bus traveling on the regular Belgrade - Bosanska Kostajnica bus line, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- During a detailed inspection of the said bus, on the seat behind the driver, customs officers noticed a red bag, which the driver stated was a package he had picked up in Belgrade and that it contained a book. Upon inspecting the contents of the bag, in addition to the book, there was also an envelope containing, besides phone bills, a white powdery substance. Upon finding the white powdery substance that suggested a narcotic, the team leader of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Rača border crossing was informed.

A preliminary test conducted by an inspector of the Bijeljina Border Police Unit determined that the substance was the narcotic drug "cocaine."

According to the agreement signed between the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the seizure of the narcotics and the processing of the individual were taken over by officers of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as other security agencies, who arrested one person who was supposed to pick up the package at the bus station in Banja Luka.
