100 kg of drugs found, three people arrested

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - During a planned operation codenamed „Sedlo“, members of the Criminal Police Sector of the MUP KS Police Directorate, with the assistance of the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH, and under the supervision of the KS Prosecutor's Office, stopped a "Renault Kangoo" vehicle at the Tarčin toll booth, Hadžići Municipality, in which they found more than 100 kilograms of narcotic drugs, most likely skunk, according to a joint statement from the MUP KS and the KS Prosecutor's Office. 

- During the search, in addition to the drugs, money in various currencies, mobile phones, and other items that could be used in further criminal proceedings were found in the car.

Three people were deprived of their liberty, including the driver of the "Renault Kangoo" vehicle with initials A.G., then the passenger with initials V.J. from Mostar, and the driver of a "Polo" vehicle with Zagreb license plates, I.C. from Kiseljak, who was escorting them. 

After criminal processing at the MUP KS, the suspects for the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the KS Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings.
