Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today (03/01/2024) carried out a search of an apartment and other premises and movable property at one location in the Sarajevo area.
One person was deprived of liberty on grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs" prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The person deprived of liberty was taken to SIPA premises for criminal processing and questioning as a suspect, after which they will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
During the search, approximately 22 kilograms of the narcotic drug speed and a certain amount of the narcotic drug marijuana were discovered and temporarily confiscated, as well as other items that may serve as evidence that the aforementioned criminal offense was committed.
The aforementioned activities were carried out based on an oral order from the Municipal Court in Sarajevo and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, in cooperation with police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton
