
The Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO) are organizing a workshop titled "Access to the EU Market and Eco-Certification for Fisheries and Aquaculture Products". The workshop, aimed at promoting the export of fish and fish products to the EU and Swiss markets, will be held on May 14th at the Chamber's premises, reports the Patria News Agency.
The workshop will focus on the regulatory requirements for exporting fish and fish products to the EU. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the EU system of official certificates, basic regulations, and requirements for competent authorities and value chain operators regarding health safety and catch certification. Eco-labels and their role in the EU market will also be discussed.
Representatives from SIPPO will also present their services and assistance programs for BiH exporters to achieve competitiveness in the EU market.
