KS business entities' turnover in March and April down by 858 million KM compared to 2019

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – According to data from the FBiH Tax Administration as of February 29, 2020, there were a total of 21,240 registered business entities in Sarajevo Canton. The total number of registered legal entities was 13,137, and natural persons 8,103.

In all registered business entities in KS during March and April 2019, a total turnover of 2,886,325,123 KM was achieved. 

As of April 30, there were 12,174 legal entities registered in KS, and 8,102 natural persons. According to data from the FBiH Tax Administration, there were 963 fewer registered legal entities in KS over two months. 
The total number of employed workers at the end of February in KS was 163,304, and by the end of April, this number decreased by 6,176 workers. 

Also, data for March and April show that registered business entities achieved a total turnover of 2,009,617,038 KM, which is 858,708,085 KM less compared to the same period last year.

A large number of activities were banned during the coronavirus pandemic, and the almost three-month blockade of economic flows has left long-term consequences on the overall economy.
