Safe Food Project Receives 2,500 KM Financial Support

Primary and secondary school students are daily faced with the danger of consuming unsafe food, the Centar Municipality announced, writes Patria.  

 

The "Association for the Popularization of Safe Food" has launched the project "Safe Food is a Guardian of Health," within which the health of students will be improved and preserved, and children and youth will be informed about what safe food is and how it affects their health.

As part of its support for projects of non-governmental organizations, the Centar Municipality has financially supported this project with 2,500 KM.

Members of the Association have so far presented this project in seven primary schools located in the Centar municipality, and lectures and workshops for students from the first to third grades have been held in many classrooms.

Members of the Association also visited school kitchens and prepared a report on the current situation and gave their proposals for necessary changes.

In this year's budget of the Centar Municipality, 300,000 KM has been allocated for the support of projects of non-governmental organizations and associations.
